Our charming, gregarious Sole Men volunteers play a hugely important role at our event, and we can’t imagine doing it without them. Our affable architects, flirty firemen, dashing doctors, and good ole regular guys (brothers, fathers, friends) are helping us take charge with raising money for the cause and spreading the mission to make sure that the ladies in their lives never have to sacrifice their health due to the lack of funds!
Our Sole Men are in charge of greeting and schmoozing with guests, presenting designer goodies on silver platters, selling raffle tickets, promoting auction lots, and—most importantly—making every woman feel special. They play a key role in creating hype within the community by spreading the word to friends and colleagues while also competing for the coveted “King of Sole” crown. Get ready ladies to watch our men bring the house down!

Please help welcome Matt Bachtel, a new 2018 Sole Man! Matt and his beautiful wife Stacey own Bachtel Excavating Inc., which services the commercial, industrial and residential excavating markets in Stark and surrounding counties.
Matt is a happily married Christian with 6 amazing children - Jett, Emma, Jack, Jaxyn, Reese and Jase! He is also a proud graduate of Massillon Washington High School and The Ohio State University. He enjoys watching NASCAR and Cleveland Indians baseball.
Matt is passionate about helping raise money for women's cancer services because he "lost his first wife Lisa to cancer is February of 2008. I know first hand the effects of this horrible disease. I also know how fortunate and blessed that I am despite this tragic loss. I have a deep faith in God that helped me through the darkest times. At the time of Lisa's passing I had unlimited family support to help take care of my children, modest savings account, great health insurance, life insurance proceeds, very generous contributions to a fund set up by the funeral home and as owner of Bachtel Excavating a very flexible schedule. I was blessed to have my wonderful wife Stacey enter my life a few years later and together we have been able to not only survive tragic loss but to thrive. I know that most people are not as fortunate as we are. God has blessed us with so much we only hope that we can play a small part in helping someone else that is not as fortunate as we are."
Please help me raise $1,000.00 for Wine Women & Shoes!
